Phantasm and Phantasm III DVD US Releases

On April 10, 2007, Anchor Bay Entertainment will release Phantasm and Phantasm III on DVD through the Anchor Bay Collection. The movies portray the horrors that have been seen throughout cinema for countless years, as the Phantasm line has influenced generations, and will feature tons of bonus materials and extra features. They will both be available for the MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) of $19.98.

Very awesome news. I already have the original on DVD, but Phantasm II and III I have on DVD as bootlegs that I made myself with a DVD recorder. Finally Phantasm III is releasing here, now where is II?

Good stuff. Tall Man is one of horror's more underrated villains.

Hate to say it, but despite loving cheesy horror, Phantasm was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I couldn't even laugh at it.

I'm with you there, the Phantasm movies suck. I can watch the first one, not really enjoy it much, but I can get through it. The rest of them, yack.

That's why these only have a cult following and nothing more. They were to make a final Phantasm with Bruce Campbell, but nothing ever came about.

Both of these released yesterday for those interested. Many stores only received 1 or 2 copies of each one as I totally forgot that they came out, glad I found 1 store today that had 1 remaining of each title.

I think that the Phantasm series albeit confusing to some tells a very good story. I really wish Phantasm V came to fruitition that would end the entire story, so I guess we wait.
