To anyone out there who is thinking of seeing this movie heed my warning. Do not rent this movie. This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen and I am a pretty easy movie critic.

Like Luke Wilson and all but this movie is just plain bad.

Once again, do not see this movie and if you must 1/2 a case is probably called for before watching.

To me the movie was hilarious, I thought it was great fun. But yeah it is a good beer drinking "guy" movie for sure...

I'm interested and have so far resisted the DVD temptation. From all I've read though, the movie is itself shallow...mainly just sight gags and such. It doesn't really probe the whole "commercialized" culture beyond the HJ's at Starbucks.

I've read that there was once a "director's cut" but Fox (?) made Judge just hurry the damn film out for the extremely limited theatrical run and the ensuing bare bones DVD.

I liked Office Space and Beavis and Butthead but for some reason this movie just didn't do it for me.

I really liked the concept but I just thought it could have been done better.

Maybe it's just me.

I really liked this movie as well. And the more I think about it, the funnier it becomes - kind of like Napolean Dynamite and Anchorman.

I laughed so freakin' hard when I saw that cigarette ad. And the #1 movie in the country was hilarious!

Very good movie!

P.S. In the ultimate definition of 'irony' Fox actually reshot some scenes to 'dumb the film down'. There doesn't appear to be any possibility that we'll ever see the original cut from Mike Judge.

Watched it this morning from NetFlix, it was terrible. Awful movie, nothing at all was funny.
