Re: 3 Way Jeopardy TIE defies odds
BTW, thanks for posting the vid of it. My family wasn't able to see it because of basketball (and they raised one hell of a fuss about it) and I was able to let them see it.Rose City 'Til I Die

Re: 3 Way Jeopardy TIE defies odds
From his laughter, I get the feeling they might have agreed to do it so they could all win the money and play again.
Still needed some luck for their wagers to be close enough to match up, but it seems like a plan."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Are contestants able to even see what the other contestants are bidding during final jeopardy? If not, how could he have done it on purpose?Comment

Or maybe it's because he knew that since he was last, he knew he had the right answer and that his wager made his score match the others.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

I'm of the opinion that someone who made a mistake like that would have been upset rather than happy."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. He gets the money and gets to go another round against people who obviously didn't know as much as he did, I wouldn't be too upset.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
