Anybody ever drink it, Im thinking about buying a bottle for this weekend, but Ive heard some pretty wild stories about it? I heard that drinking a shot is the equivilent to drinking 3 to 4 gallons of beer. That seems kinda excessive to me, and I was wondering if it really is that potent.

Also feel free to share stories of drunkeness while drinking Everclear!

lol...it's something like 95% alcohol, which is 190 proof. Very potent, which means a shot is probably more powerful than stuff you've had.

I have a friend who drinks this exclusively, which means I have tons of stories. Regardless, I didn't like taking straight shots, so it's best to mix them with fruit drinks, or anything. The taste is horrible and I couldn't down more than 3 of them before I cut myself off. It's the mixed drinks that lets you drink more of it.

I remember havin 3 shots of it after I had been drinkin vodka all night... Hahaha, what a fun night. I was crawling around because I couldn't stand. I don't remember much except one person asking me why I was crawling...

"Well gee, I don't ****in' know! Maybe it's because I CAN'T STAND?!"

also, it's probably nice that you're overestimating it's potency, as many people probably do the opposite.

Nah... I was already twisted when I drank it. Add a few shots of almost pure alcohol on top of being twisted, you will not be walking normally. Plus, it was before I could handle alcohol well; was quite some time ago.

Stay away from it. It's the devil. I had my first experience with it during my freshman year in college, Duke-Carolina game #1 in 1998. We drank, went to the plaza, I fell asleep in a bathroom stall in the student center, came back to the room, walked in the door, said what's up to the fellas, spun around, fell asleep under a rolling chair, woke up to see Vincanity dunk, went back to sleep, woke up the next morning at 7 in my own room.

I unfortunately drank the stuff again on a few more occassions but I'm admittedly afraid of the stuff now. If you're scared, say you're scared...and I'm scared.

"fell asleep"? riiiiiight. Did you have a bad hangover the next day? My one friend is having jungle juice at his house and so many people rave about how great it is. Must be the fraternity roofies talking I guess. (j/k to anyone in a frat)

One of my buddies did two shots of it a couple months ago. He disappeared for hours and doesn't remember anything about the rest of the night. All we managed to piece together is that he threw fruits and vegetables off the top of some residence hall.

After just two shots of Everclear? Wow.

We usually mix it with fruit and Kool-Aid. Turns out pretty damn good...

Then when all of the Everclear/Kool-Aid mix is gone... you can eat the fruit at the bottom of the bowl that's been soaking in alcohol.

Put the Everclear in the freezer. It's a trick I learned.

Well he didn't mix it and had already been drinking all night. It basically put him way over the top.
