Re: Grand Canyon Skywalk
I'm so damn sick of hearing about this thing. In SoCal, it's all you freakin' hear about.
That said, I'd probably walk on it if it wasn't a glass floor.Comment

Re: Grand Canyon Skywalk
To reach the transparent deck, tourists must drive 14 miles on twisty, unpaved roads.
The tribe will include access to the deck in a variety of tour packages ranging from $49.95 to $199.00.
As people walk across it, the glass layers creak and the deck wobbles almost imperceptibly.

I'd go on it in a second, but I'm more upset that they messed with the natural beauty of the grand canyon.Comment

Re: Grand Canyon Skywalk
I took a hellicoptor ride into the grand canyon. We were going along about 50 feet off the ground along the plateau leading up to the canyon, it was really cool I was feeling the force like I was in a land speeder, the coptor had a glass floor in it and everything was zipping by, wild stallions were trotting along in the distance it was incredible....and then came the canyon....
The pilot dove down into that and it was like the rug was ripped out from under me and my stomach hit the ceiling and my nuts were where my stomach used to be, its a LOOONG way down. I don't think I could stand on that bridge, I'd probaly get dizzy and find a way to topple over the guard rail.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment
