Which is exactly why movies like Napoleon Dynamite were so great. They pretty much resulted to every comedic PG line imaginable, and IMO it was and still is gold.

I'm not a big fan of stand-up in general, but the times that I had seen him, I haven't really laughed at all. I thought that the Bud Light Superbowl commercial was pretty funny when I first saw it because I didn't actually see it during the Superbowl. Ehem, anyway... the way he presented that little skit was so unfunny, I didn't even begin to discover where the punch line was. Terrible.

Joe Rogan was on a local radio showing talking about this today (he's in town doing his routine at the Improv).

He said that this isn't all that uncommon. He said when he was younger he went to a Denis Leary standup routine. 4 weeks later he saw another guy in Boston who wasn't as big as Leary. Anyhow, it was basically the same routine. He asked a few people in the area what the deal was and they said that Leary steals a lot of his material from the smaller standup comedians in the area.

Cosby is pure comedy. Absolutely one of the top 5 ever. The fact that Mencia thinks he is in the same comedic galaxy as Cosby is insane. I also can't believe that he would think he should even attempt to alter any Cosby material.
