Yeah they are a great live band. My second favorite concert ever next to Dave Matthews. Going to see them live again at Bonaroo.

I'm going to see DMB in September...

That was THE best live show I've ever been to. Maynard's voice sounds as good live as it does on a CD...maybe better.

Oh...and I was on the 7th row.

Went to the Tool concert last night at Summerfest, it was amazing.

Big Business opened up for them. Never heard of them. There drummer was good, the rest of the band was meh. The crowd kinda gave them a mixed reaction. Some cheers, some grumbles.

Then after the 30 minutes set from Big Business and a 40 minute intermission Tool FINALLY took the stage. They were really drawing it out.

It was an AMAZING concert though. From the light effects to the music to the people all singing along it was great.

The band was basically spot on with all the songs too compared to the album versions, of course not counting the insane extended drum solos from Carey. Maynard sounded a little off occasionally and Adam Jones distorted guitar sounds got a bit harsh at times, but otherwise it was great. Alot of people were calling it the best concert they had ever been to. It was definitely the best way to celebrate the fourth of July lol.
