What are some other good sitcoms that you all would recommend? I'm not big on TV, so sorry if this show is pretty big.. I'd never heard of it though.

Good sitcoms
Don't know how many of you all have watched this show, but I absolutely love it. It's on TBS at 12 ET. I hadn't even heard of it until one of the guys I work with had it on. It's a pretty good slapstick comedy.

Re: Good sitcoms
How I Met Your Mother
Rules of Engagement
Two and a Half Men
The Class
Basically, CBS Monday Nights. All 4 shows, pretty damn good shows.
King of Queens is still funny and starting April they will show the last few new episodes of the show. -
Re: Good sitcoms
How I Met Your Mother and The Class are really the only two sitcoms that I watch.
Crap.... forgot The Office. Although, it's hard for me to consider it a sitcom even though I guess that's what it is.Last edited by Flyboy; 03-26-2007, 01:49 PM.Originally posted by EWRMETSMaybe the best post in OS's history. Re: Good sitcoms
NewsRadio is a classic. Excellent show with a good cast. I used to watch it all the time and try to catch the re-runs when I take a day off of work to relax. One Phil Hartman died, the show just fizzled away.
The sitcoms I watch or DVR now are:
The Class
Two and a Half Men
How I Met Your Mother
My Name is Earl
The Office
Scrubs
King of Queens
All are pretty good IMO.Comment

Re: Good sitcoms
Of all-time... Friends, Seinfeld, and Raymond are my favorites.
The ones that are on right now that I absolutely love are:
My Name is Earl
How I Met Your Mother
The Class
Maybe eventually they will stack up with my favorites of all time. They are really good, but not on that level to me.
I also watch 'Til Death which I think is really funny, it just started out pretty bland, but got better. I like that new show Rules of Engagement, but I've only seen 3 episodes of it, I'll catch the other episodes as they repeat.
I watched most of The New Adventures of Old Christine last year, but I eventually gave up on it. It just wasn't worth the time for me, some people must like it though since it seems to be doing well.
I tried watching The Office as well, but I just don't like Steve Carrell at all. But I've heard lots of people say how much they like it and the supporting characters, so I think I'll watch the first couple seasons on DVD this summer and see if I can get into it.
I never gave Scrubs a chance. I remember watching the premier and it came off as one of the goofy sitcoms which I don't really go for. From what I've seen since, it looks the same. Really funny for some people, but not for me.
I've always like King of Queens as well, but I don't watch it regularly because my wife doesn't really like it. I catch it in syndication quite a bit though.
