Re: Note to HBO/Cinemax- LET'S GET SOME VARIETY!!!
I have DishNetwork and All of the HBOs have basically been showing the same 10 movies for about 4 MONTHS now!
Let's see...my choices are....
Any of the 6 Star Wars movies (Which never get old IMO..I'm a fanboy).
Fever Pitch
Field of Dreams
Munich
Poseidon
Longford
Kicking and Screaming
Just Like Heaven
George Lopez's standup
And that's about it. I swear..Field of Dreams has been coming on regularly on the HBOs since N-O-V-E-M-B-E-R.
I'm really getting annoyed at the lack of variety on all of my movie channels.
Hell...tune into Cinemax at any hour of the day and I guarantee you V for Vendetta will be on.
Be glad that stopped showing Catwoman..
Just to think, at the beginning of the month I'd only seen 4 of th 6 Star Wars movies... now at the end of the month, I've seen them all.....10X!!Comment

Think that's bad, try Showtime.. I got 6 months free with Comcast, and I haven't seen a single thing on it worth watching... At least HBO loops watchable things.Vice President of the Devils' DenComment

Re: Note to HBO/Cinemax- LET'S GET SOME VARIETY!!!
The only show I watched on Showtime when I had it was Weeds and once that ended I quickly canceled it and got HBO instead, only problem is I only watched Rome and now that has ended. Ive heard nothing but good things about Entourage and I believe I heard the new season is starting soon so I will look into watching that, is it the type of show that you can start watching it at any point or should you start from season one so as not to miss part of the storyline?Comment

Wow you're the only person I've heard say bad things about it. Not for everyone I guess though. If you ever have chance, watch the Bob Saget episode though. It's one of the funniest episodes of any show that I've seen.NBA: New York Knicks

Nope I was looking forward to it when I heard about the premise and how good it was supposed to be but after I watched it I really didn't like it at all.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

I wonder if people even know about on-demand.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

I love On Demand. And sing it's praises whenever I can. However I am spoiled. I am to the point that not only have I seen every and I mean every movie I want to see (canceled Blockbuster Online for this reason) but to watch movies on full screen? No thanks.Comment
