Just Got This Offer: Roadrunner

I have just received an email to upgrade to Roadrunner's "Turbo Charged" (whatever) cable internet service. Here's the basic description:

"Turbo charge your Road Runner High Speed Online for just $9.95 more per month, and do everything you love to do online - faster! Download your favorite shows, videos, and music at speeds up to 60% faster!"

Anyone have this speed, and if so, is it that better than the basic cable connection?

My connection is currently 6Mbps, where this would be 8Mbps.

I'm thinking no, but I was just wondering if anyone had this and could tell a substantial difference.
