I guess I may have to see this movie......when it comes out. I'm surprised. Thought it would take the Resident Evil type of flip.

I really enjoyed it too. I managed to get in for free, but it would be well worth the few dollars it would have cost. I may go see it again today.

This movie was very well done. I really enjoyed it. The zombies got more exposure & when the camera was focused on them the director did a gr-8 job of making their behavior seem very chaotic. There definitely was more Blood & Gore in this-1 compared to 28 Days Later.

The story line was pretty good. You definitely could get a sense of a political overtone. Not sure if that's good or bad. Rarely does a sequel live up to it's original. IMO this-1 does. This movie does the Zombie Genre justice

I haven't seen this yet, but am definately planning to. Absolutely love 28 Days Later. And to address the "political" concerns, I think that angle is definatley justified since in the first movie it was revealed that England had basically become quarantined to starve off the virus. If there isn't a more political lead-in, I don't know what is.

And, second, this is not a Zombie movie. Granted it has zombie-like characteristics but they aren't zombies. They're alive and infected with a virus.

I might see it now, didn't think it would be that good and I was on the fence.

I would recommend it. I think its up there with The Descent as far as recent horror movies go.

I saw it a few days ago and I liked it better than the first. I didn't really enjoy the ending (the army part) of the first, but otherwise was impressed by it. "Weeks" does a great job of portraying the apocolyptic feel of the situation and also of creating chaos. Some of the imagery was very graphic and I enjoyed the characters for the most part.

Weeks owned Days IMO. The imagery was riveting. From beginning to end, the tension in Weeks never really died like it did at several points throughout days. They did a good job of developing the characters amid the action sequences which ultimately gave their deaths some impact. Especially Doyle. I thought Weeks was outstanding. As for the box office, it's really too bad it's smushed between Spider Man and Shrek 3 as well as Pirates next week.

Yeah, for those that liked the original, you're going to appreciate how Weeks doesn't completely crap on the visual style and standards that Days set but instead takes them to a higher level and maintains the tension much longer. I plan on seeing it again tommorow night. Great film.
