    Tri-Staters: Is M&MD permanantly on 6-10am now?

It's weird hearing them this early, the show already sounds different and seems less sports-orientated. Are they just filling in the Imus slot until WFAN can find a replacement? And who the heck is gonna fill the afternoon block?

I'm listening to WFAN now, I think they're gonna do the afternoon show as well... 850 the Buzz here in Raleigh used to broadcast Imus' show too, so they filled it in with Mike and Chris. Which was weird, because they're a Fox Sports affiliate, so I figured they'd fill in the 6-10 slot with whatever Fox does in the morning.

WFAN.com says Mike and Chris will be on from 2pm-6:30pm today. A double header!

Wow. I heard about them thinking about putting them on in the morning, but I never thought they would actually do it. I heard some people talk about splitting them up, having one doing the morning while the other does the afternoon, but that would never work because they both suck when they are alone.

As long as WFAN doesn't fill the morning slot with Steve Summers I will be happy.

I hope they stay in the afternoon, i'd rather listen to them in the afternoon.

I swear to god that man has a 5th of something before every show. Yet all the listeners love him, figure that one out!

              C'mon man, Summers is hilarious!

I was listening to Mark Malusis overnight and he said Francesa and Russo were going to do morning and afternoons for 2 weeks.

I love when an educated person is on with Parcells' girlfriend and the Dumb Puppy. They're interviewing Jackie Robinson's son right now, and he is OWNING Russo. Russo has been rendered absolutely mute.

Did I just hear he has 11 kids?!?!?

I would put the little smiley where the guy laughs and spits out his drink, but this is so true.

And Streetz got it right, it's only temporary. I have a cousin who works at the FAN and he told me about the two week thing, but it could change if the ratings and revenue are good.

I know sometimes they sound like idiots but some of the callers are ridiculous.

On a side note, I think this guy passed away(RIP) but anyone remember that crazy Yankee fan that would call in? I don't think he called in to M%MD, I think it was the overnight but damn he was crazy. He had to be in his 80s and would go crazy after every game. I have never heard so much yelling, he would complain about everything that didn't work.

lol you mean Jerome from Manhattan? Great memories.
I stopped watching the show long ago, just thought to myself one day...why am listening to these bafoons yell? I can't stand Mike or MadDog.

I like Steve Sumers, but the guy is a major Mets homer.

I like the Midday show a lot with Joe and Evan. I listen to M@MD too at times since I usually get out of class at like 1 and always like to hear there thoughts on the Giants loss.

Jerome from Manhattan died?!?! I don't think he was that old. I know there was that old lady who had a problem with her throat who died a few years back. Her name was Doris maybe? And there's that guy Juan. He's the "OG Juan" that Jay-Z shouts out on some songs here and there. He's always crying about Yankee fans not giving A-Rod respect.

I'm pretty sure Jerome from Manhattan is still alive. He did have heart problems though and they banned him from calling for good because of his heart problems and he would always yell. I think after WFAN banned him though he did start calling 1050 for a while.

Yeah, Doris sounded like a genuinely nice lady. Jerome, last I heard he had problem with cancer or someone within his family had medical problems/treatment? Did he really die? He didn't even sound like he was older than 30 at most.
