According to Wikipedia Jerome is still alive and last called in on April 10th, 2007 with Beningo and Roberts.

Good to know he is still alive. I do remember one called passing away but probably wasn't him.

His relationship status is intriguing enough for Steve Somers to once give Jerome $60 to take a lady out on a date, only for Jerome to keep the money and not go out on the date

            haha I love Steve's cruelty.

I love M&MD, they are about the only sports talk radio show I'll listen too, so the more the better.

I heard Jerome from Manhattan on with Joe and Evan recently--must've been the April 10 show. Overall it was a pretty somber call as he talked about his mother's passing.

Unfortunately, he didn't get much time to rail about the Yankees.

I remember Jerome would call both 1050 and WFAN at some point... I'm ashamed to admit that Doris' calls would get me pissed off because she would be coughing half the time. I should have figured something was wrong with her, I felt like the biggest prick when I heard she passed away.

Yeah, Romie Rome is still alive and kickin'. I've heard him the few times he's called in recently. He's too lowkey for me now after hearing his hi-jinks earlier in his calling career

When Sporting News Radio was still heard on 620 AM in New York, Jerome would call... The only time we would hear Sporting News on 620 would be overnights on the weekends, so he would call Chris Russell's show on Saturday night/Sunday morning.

Max Kellerman has a show on 1050 ESPN in NY, which is pretty decent, followed by Stephen A. Smith's show.

I'm surprised at how good his show is. It's not amazing, but he's much better than I expected. I'll listen to him over The Herd any day of the week.
