yeah, it would have been funnier 2 years ago when The O.C. was still relevant, or at least on the air.

I thought it was a joke on Scorsese's "The Departed."

With all the closeups and senseless gun shots.

Of course, I can't explain guys getting up and shooting someone after they were shot because no one got back up in The Departed. You took a bullet to the brain in The Departed and everyone knew you weren't coming back.

So, I could see why I'd be wrong. I also don't watch the OC and never cared to.

After watching the OC clip and rewatching the Digital Short, I'm calling for a TT salute.

I mean, yes, I feel bad about the incident, but everyone is treating it like the end of the world. There's no need to start sending out mass emails, starting up loads of threads, and all this stuff all over the net because of this incident.

Maybe, I shoudn't watch the Black Donnellys online either because I'm sure the gun in the third scene is just a totally bad thing to see today. Perhaps, NBC should just not allow me to stream the video.
Very well said, I 100% agree. As for some people finding this hilarious and others not, it is definitely a certain type of sense of humour. A spoof of tv show and movie death cliches, combined with the humorous music and cheesy acting is basically what it is that makes it funny to some. It's also a morbid type funny. Many people don't find morbid type humour funny. I saw equal love/hate about this clip on Youtube btw.
