I have an mp3 instrumental that I want to use for my ringtone. Can I e-mail it to my Sprint address as an attachment? I can't think of any other way to get it from the PC to my cell w.o blowing the extra cash on the USB device.

Getting mp3's to your cell phone
I just picked up the Samsung M610 yesterday, I'd had an older Sanyo 2300 for over two years which is a basic phone with no exciting features. So the M610 has all the media player jazz, etc which I'm unfamiliar with on cell phones. It also included a micro-memory card for transfering data files. Only problem is there is no USB cable or device. I'd prefer not to pay $30 for that USB device that the Sprint cronie recommended.

Dude... You shoulda got the Sanyo M1... 1 gig of memory, USB cable for easy transfer of files... I haven't even maxed out the number of songs I can have on there. -
Re: Getting mp3's to your cell phone
I almost got that one but decided against it. I don't need all that memory because I'd never listen to music through my phone - I just want a ringtone or two."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Getting mp3's to your cell phone
I turned off all the messaging on my phone, so I just bought a bluetooth adapter for my laptop and transfer MP3's and pics that way. I like it better than using messaging anyway.Comment
