I'm getting disenchanted with my Blockbuster Online membership

Not so much for the service part...

But for the fact that I've sat through 2 "Stinkers" and 1 "Eh" movie the last 3 rentals.

    The Black Dahlia was HORRIBLE.

All The King's Men has an awesome performance by Sean Penn surrounded by a HORRIBLE script and awkward co star casting.

And Smokin' Aces..even with all of the "star power"..was well... "eh".

I'm in desperate need of a great flick..

LUCKILY...I just got my copy of the 20th Anniversary version of TRON!! Woo Hoo!!

Layer Cake, if you haven't seen it, is pretty good.

I thought Smokin' Aces was entertaining.

I'm really getting pissed off with Blockbuster too. The shipping is WAAAAYYYY slow. 10x slower than Netflix. But I do love the trade in Blockbuster feature...I get a lot of movies out of that.

I agree, I use the heck out of the trade in at Blockbuster. I even update my queue while still in the store so that I don't struggle to remember something that looked interesting in the store later.

Being able to sign in while at Blockbuster is great.

Like madscientist said, allows me to update my queue for something interesting (sometimes I use the queue to remember a movie I want to trade-in for later rather than wait for in the mail) and also allows me to remove a title from the queue so I don't end up getting it twice.

But, my problem has been an inability to watch movies because I'm working so much. I've had three movies sitting at home for a full month and another movie that a friend let me borrow three months ago. Still haven't seen either.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob Neyer

Yes, the should have more copies of things available. I can't watch the current Shield season because I'm waiting on Season 5 stuff and they're not available in any of our local stores. Something current/popular should be better stocked.
