FUEL New Album Due Soon.
For those Fuel fans that have been following the whole Brett - Carl infighting saga, the band with their new lead singer and new drummer have finished recording their latest album. I'm excited for this to release and you can here one of the new songs "Gone" on their official site.

Brett supplied the vocas, but only wrote 2 songs accross 3 CDs. The musical sound of the band goes to Carl Bell who has quite a knack for catchy hooks and riffs for current rock music.
I think Fuel will do well. They probably won't be as popular, but then again, their last CD didn't fair as well as the first 2 did.
Good Luck to them.
Even thought I like Chris, I'm glad they didn't get Daughtry.BeyondMediaOnline.comComment

Re: FUEL New Album Due Soon.
As much as Carl brings to the band -- ie: everything -- they will not find success as Fuel without Brett on vocals. They would be so much better off here taking the Tantric or Alter Bridge route and simply going with a different name to suit the new singer. Brett Scallions' voice was Fuel, plain and simple.
All that said, I'm interested to hear the work. Carl's lyrics put forth three of the best modern rock CDs of the past decade, I'm sure he has a lot more in him.Comment

Re: FUEL New Album Due Soon.
The new album Angels and Devils released this past week. I have listened to the album a few times, even though the new guy has a good voice I'm still missing Brett at vocals. I sometimes don't like that bands will continue with the same band name after an important member leaves, such as the lead singer.
So far, I'm digging most of the songs on this album.Comment
