Could you imagine that being the version of Super Mario Brothers you got with your NES when you were 8-9 years old?

Nintendo actually released the true Mario 2 in the Mario All Stars game on the SNES. The Lost Levels is the true Super Mario Bros. 2, that was deemed too difficult for American gamers. They then gave us the horrible version everyone knows as Super Mario Bros. 2.

The lost levels was hard as hell...but this still looks worse.

but they did have reverse warp pipes in the lost levels. They would take you back to the beginning of the game.

I decided to play the lost levels, im already stuck on 1-2 at those platforms that drop when you land on them, lol. My pc 360 controller finally has some use, it was collecting dust.

there's dozen of other sites where people are searching. The problem is, there are endless fan mods like this, which make it hard to find. It would actually be easier to just recreate the levels based on the video.
