Yea, they have his words on the front page of the Chicago Suntimes. The stuff he wrote was a little sadistic though. I understand creative writing but just moniter that guy, thats all.

He should have known better than to turn that kind of stuff in...

Even when your teacher says "anything goes," you should know your limitations.

        That's laughable. Really.

The only reason this is happening is because of VT.

        That's sad.

If people were always so concerned about writing assignments then this world wouldn't have Stephen King.

Of course, typical of mass media they only focus on the negatives instead of the positives. It's funny how the media likes to blame video games and movies for violent acts, yet they never mention the news they show on television. Damn, the intros to the 5 o'clock news are scary to hear. The "It's 10 o'clock, do you know where your children are" sounds like something straight out of a horror movie. But, it's ok cause it's only the news.

No wonder America is so f'ed up.

Now that I read the entire article I'm laughing even harder.

Jail time for writing a school assignment?

My goodness. I give up. This country is ridiculous.

This is true. I can't blame one thing.

I just don't like it when people try to blame video games and movies. They don't seem to understand the great volume of people that play and watch video games. Yet, we don't have millions and millions of killers.

It's like watching Julio Lugo hit a homerun off of Scott Proctor. Off of one game I could assume that Lugo is a homerun hitter. But, that's because it's a small sample size. A small sample size should not make up for an entire group of people. No one would say that Lugo is a homerun hitter because we view the entire sample and realize that Lugo isn't when compared to other home run hitters.

Why should one kid who kills because he might have seen something in a video game make up for the entire population of video game players?

Now it's turning into a creative writing issue. Because the VT killer wrote "disturbing" articles, anyone that wants to be creative without limitations is going to be questioned and condemned by school officials and the law.

All we'll end up doing is making children into robots. Robots can't think for themselves and surprise, surprise...they aren't creative.

Creativity is the biggest talent this world has lost.
