    Blu Ray & Dolby Digital

Not sure what I'm doing wrong here or if this has been discussed already, but why when I watch Blu Ray discs on the PS3, does my audio receiver only output in dolby pro logic II? I think I have my connections set up correctly. When I play PS3 games, I get Dolby Digital output. Thanks.

If you are connecting to your receiver with an optical or coaxial cable, and not HDMI, set the Blu-ray audio to "Bitstream" in order to get Dolby or DTS tracks to play correctly.

You can only get lossless audio (i.e. Dolby TrueHD) over HDMI.
