    2007 Summer Movie Preview

Rotten Tomatoes, home of the Tomatometer, is the most trusted measurement of quality for Movies & TV. The definitive site for Reviews, Trailers, Showtimes, and Tickets

It seems like every summer, we are getting more and more sequels.

Check out Chris Tucker's film resume since 1998:

    1998 - Rush Hour
    2001 - Rush Hour 2
    2007 - Rush Hour 3

Tucker strikes me as somebody that doesn't like to work. I guess the 25 million dollar payday for Rush Hour 3 was too good to pass up.

As I went through the film list, 4 A-list stars are missing: Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks, Jim Carrey, and Reese Witherspoon.

IIRC I saw about 15-20 movies last summer. Because I have a stash of over 35 films I still have yet to watch, I'm going to see less films this summer.

Spiderman 3, Rush Hour 3, and The Bourne Ultimatum are locks. Besides these 3 films, I have a whole bunch of other movies on the maybe list. I wish a movie ticket didn't cost $11.

Rush Hour 3...That's it. I'm hoping it hasn't been too long since the last one. Like to see what Tucker has in show for it though.

Wasn't he in Money Talks? When did that come out?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to Spider-Man 3, Ocean's 13, The Bourne Ultimatum, Rush Hour 3, Shrek the Third (wow, look at all of these second sequels!), F4: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Live Free or Die Hard, Hostel: Part II, Transformers.

It looks like, aside from Transformers, I'm seeing nothing but sequels this summer!

Really have no interest in Rush Hour 3.

Is it...supposed to be good or something?

They would have to pay me to see that pile of dung. The 2nd one was so bad.

Spiderman 2, Shrek the Third, Transformers, Knocked Up, Evan Almighty. Why is Rush Hour 3 even mentioned?

Yep I knew there was going to be a sequel because I heard about it a couple years ago but it looks like it has finally been made.

Tucker was in Money Talks. That came out in '97. It's funny. He's only been in 8(?) movies before RH3...Let's see if I can list them:

                              House Party 3
                              Friday
                              Dead Presidents
                              Money Talks
                              Rush Hour
                              Rush Hour 2
                              Jackie Brown
                              Fifth Element

He might have been in another but I can't think of it.
