At least it's at the Palms so it's off the Strip. Let me see...I have worked the Strip for 2 years and have seen one person shot...total. All-Star weekend we have 5 people shot in 3 days. And that does't count the drunk girl who got outta her car on LB Blvd in front of Caesars and started popping rounds because somebody threw a coffee at her because she cut them off. Thank God the only thing she hit was her own car.

Hopefully the VMA's won't bring in the absolute lowest forms of life that the NBA brought in. That was my worst weekend on the job by far.

I trust your opinion since you are a LV cop but werent 4 of those people shot in once incident? It doesnt mean that its any less significant but lets not make it seem like it was 5 seperate incidents..

True...3 were shot at a strip club (Pacman making it rain)...but we had 3 other shootings on the Strip...2 of them people got hit. And one which sparked some rumor that E-40 had been killed. I had more people come up to me and ask if he was really shot...strange how things get started.
