Why did he need your shoes in the first place? Did he lose his or something?

It was an example. If Clinton was still prez, i'd use his name. I dont see why you're getting all defensive.

The bottom line is that the Federal govt could tell this idiot to f-off and relieve him of his duties for being a dummy. But why, when this money is going back to the govt through taxes anyways

He is also suing on behalf of all those in the D.C. area who've been to businesses that indicate "Satisfaction Guaranteed," but fail to live up to the billing, as well as other factors.

Personally, I think this guy is a fool and a prime example of how ridiculous the judicial system in America can be. The fact that it even goes to trial is ridiculous; the notion that he might even win is just pathetic.

I also have trouble understanding how anyone can value and respect the ruling of a judge that would file and pursue such a ridiculous lawsuit in the same courts in which he works. He is an embarassment and a fraud.

This is a quote from your original post that I questioned.

"This is the problem with America. If Bush were to come out and say they are Asian and its a ring they're running, people would believe them and want these people deported. Exaggerated, but recent events have pointed to this."

I still don't understand what you were trying to say...but it doesn't sound like you were speaking about the judge and relieving him of his duties.

I'm not attacking you per se.....I just don't see how you get from that quote, to a judge being relieved of his duties...

              Yep.

I actually had a pair of dressy brown shoes at school with me.

Some nice Timberland dress shoes, with gel inserts.

              And now they're gone.

                Update!

Well he lowered his lawsuit to a mere $54 million over the lost pants. Maybe I should sue him for around $100 million for negligent infliction of emotional distress. I think I would have much more merit to my case.

And justice was served. Thank goodness this case ended up going this way or society as we know it would have been doomed.

I like that he has to pay their court costs too. A judge will only do that if he feels that a case is particularly frivolous and inane.

                              Bump.

Despite the fact that the dry cleaners withdrew their demand for compensation of their legal fees, Roy Pearson has decided to file an appeal anyway.

Seriously he should lose his bar license or at the very least be removed as a judge. Judge's are bound to uphold the integrity of their profession and the Court, filing and subsequently appealing a frivolous, baseless claim violates all of the ethics and codes he must follow. This just makes me sick.
