How many on here like the band Chevelle? Their new album released a few weeks ago Vena Sera and it's some good stuff if you like this band.

Been a fan for a long time. Haven't really gotten into the new album. I really haven't tried listening to it though, so I may soon.

They played here Friday at Music Fest and was supposed to see them but the person I went with found out her grandfather died like an hour and a half before the show started, and I had to take her back. I only got back in time to hear a few songs (Get Some and Send the Pain Below)

I had seen em one other time, good show.

Not a huge fan, but I do like a few of their songs.

I love the music video for "The Red."

I've heard them on the radio, but they sound like every other band out there to me. Very derivative.

I'm not a huge fan, they're just average to me. But they came from the town over from where I live, so I guess that gives them an extra point.

I had Wonder Whats Next when it came out, but I never really listened to the album apart from The Red and Send the Pain Below. I thought it was just okay then, its hard to tell what I would think of it now.

Been a big fan for awhile. I like the new album but it doesn't compare to Wonder Whats Next. Hate the new emo look their sporting though....

I used to like them quite a bit, but I don't like the direction they've taken.

I haven't picked up the new album, but I downloaded some tracks off of it. The tracks I downloaded we're alright, so that may drive me to pick up the album. I've been going to cdnow.com and looking up bands like Seether and seeing what other bands compare to them, like Evans Blue, and downloading some of their stuff. Never heard of Evans Blue, but I downloaded "Cold (But I'm Still Here)" and went out and picked up the album.

I've found a few good bands that way.

I liked Evans Blue's album, but they are by far the worst live band I've ever heard, including several terrible student bands. Maybe it was just that one performance, but it was a horrifying experience.

I agree. Maybe not the worst, but one of the worst.
