I thought I remember reading that the average person will ingest 7 or 8 spiders or bugs while sleeping over the course of their lifetime. Pretty nasty.

I can deal with that, but having them making a home for themselves in my ear...that's a whole other story.

Slightly off-topic but there was a scene in "The Covenant" where some chick had a bunch of tiny spiders burst from one large pimple-like bump on her forehead. This article gave me the same itchy sensation as that scene.

I've seen that, and it reminded me of this lady I used to work with. She woke up one morning with a rash on her cheek that continued to get larger over the next couple of days. So, she went to the doctor and he told her that a spider laid eggs in her face while she was sleeping and they were growing!?!? I didnt know whether to believe her or not, but the next day she came in with a bandage on her face because they had to cut them out so they wouldnt spread or whatever. That was some sick ****!

Spiders are the only thing in the world that I have a legit phobia of. I see one or something and I'm screaming like a little bitch. It's quite sad really.

not a fan of spiders myself. snakes i can deal with because, for the most part, you can see them but spiders give me the willies. if i'm, say, mowing the lawn and get a web on me i'm noid for the rest of the time i'm mowing.
