He should have gotten a second opinion, he didnt, its his fault and deserves nothing, end of story. I feel sorry for the guy, but if someone told me I was going to die, I would, at the very least, consult a second doctor and see what they say. Science is in-exact, sometimes Im sure it isnt easy to make a diagnosis and there are probably other factors to take into account, I cant see how the doctor can be held responsible unless its proven that it was done with malice or on purpose, otherwise these things happen more times then its reported but unlike this guy most people get that second opinion.

The guy shouldn't of blown all his money to start with, he could of out lived the estimate or even gotten better. Plus the guy has grand kids, how about saving some money for them.

It seems pretty odd that this guy would hear the news, and then just go and blow all his money. If someone told me I have a few months to live, I'd make pretty darn sure they were right. I'd research the disease. I'd get multiple opinions.

And even still, I'd make sure whatever money I had left went to my existing family/friends, rather than spending it on meaningless gratification.
