"He cleared out the whole level one basically on brain control," said Leuthardt. "He learned almost instantaneously. We then gave him a more challenging version in two-dimensions and he mastered two levels there playing only with his imagination."

    That's pretty wild.
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

Come on, EG... you know better than to re-post old threads.

I don't think this technology will be quite ready for our time, and I hope to God that it doesn't, either. Sounds painful.

I just want video games like in Futurama.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Was it posted before, I searched for it first. If so, I'll close this up if you can find the old one.

Better yet, find it without using your hands, but only your mind.

It might not have been the same kid or article, but we definitely had the same kind of headline. I'll look for it later, but I was just giving you a hard time either way.

I think the other article wasn't about a kid playing video games, but moving a mouse pointer around.

Have you guys ever seen what Lucas studios do with their sensory technology? I was watching Conan O'brien and they put him in one of their suits. It is amazing what they can accomplish with it. It's not quite the same as this article, but the suit covers the whole body and its movements. They used it for C3PO and Conan was acting all drunk with him.
