This is crazy, his grandfather bought him a gun at 10 months, he can now legally carry it.

I'm honestly not disappointed by this news.

I'm not a fan of age restrictions because I think numbers are abitrary and though, I can agree that a 10 month old wouldn't know how to handle a gun, it's still not fair to lable any person at any age as unable to perform or be involved in a certain activity.

The law still states that a minor can not buy a gun. I've never read anything about a minor not owning a gun.

And honestly, if it weren't for this country being so afraid of sex and sex offenders, do you think this country would prevent people under 21 to drink? Think about it.

I thought the 21 drinking had more to do with drunk driving accidents on prom night in HS.

And the sad thing is, the gun is safer in the baby's hands than in most adults.
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

Wow this just blows me away. (pardon the pun) I can't believe that some people would be ok with this. Maybe it's the whole "right to bear arms" mentality in the US which we don't have in Canada and so my shock is more cultural then anything else.

I was going to bring that up as well, but for me to mention that then I'd have to get into my whole argument about being able to drive before you could legally drink in the United States.

It's something that I don't think makes much sense at all.

I'm going to say negative on that........... at least on the most adults portion of it.

There's some crazy adults that can make the world unsafe with their gun usage but I don't think that 51% of adults are THAT looney with a gun. Not to mention I seriously doubt a toddler grasps the concept of life and death just yet.

If the usage of the gun is not monitored very closely, he could accidentally pop someone in the eye with that thing.

Oh, just had a "Planet Terror" memory there.
