Maroon 5 - It Won't Be Soon Long Enough

One of the best new albums I've heard this year. I'm digging this more than Songs About Jane.

This album is a lot more upbeat. It's a very radio friendly album. Some of the hooks are extremely catchy.

My favorite tracks are: If I Never See You Again, Makes Me Wonder, Wake Up Call, Won't Go Home Without You, Nothing Lasts Forever, Goodnight Goodnight, Not Falling Apart, Better That We Break, and Infatuation.

I haven't heard it yet but, as others have said, it would have to be really really good to top Songs About Jane. Who knows though, I could agree with asianflow after I hear it a few times.

Until I've heard an album all the way through about 5 or 6 times I really can't put it into any kind of perspective.

i like their new album. It doesn't compare to songs about Jane but thats not really a bad thing. Songs about Jane was an amazing CD, so it would have been hard to top it.

Still a good album though

I like it. I like "Won't Go Home Without You" and "Nothing Lasts Forever" the best, hands down. Not as good as the first one, but it is already growing on me and I've only had it for a week or so.

They definitely have a very commercial sound. It grows on you, though.

I just realized (because I just listened to it) that the chorus to "Nothing Lasts Forever" was the same chorus that Adam Levine sang on Kanye West's Late Registration.

Bubble gum soul. Weak stuff in my opinion. This band used to play grunge/hard rock stuff before they decided to sing in a falsetto and play stock funk.

Certainly not that interesting but will likely sell well and girls will love it.

Give me Sam and Dave, Temptations, Curtis Mayfield any day of the week over this stuff.
