Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

It's Verizon FiOS, and it's not that much better than CJ's. I'm paying for 15M down, and 2M up, but I usually get around 15.7M down, and 1.8M up.

            Re: upload and download speeds

I am actually embarassed to post mine.

I need to get my mom to check it out...no way it should be as bad as it is.

And...before anyone makes a comment...the cable company is under her name, so me calling and trying to do anything wouldn't help at all.

              Re: upload and download speeds

What is the deal with the latency? I'm assuming that a lower number is better, which would explain why CJ, with his "great" connection, still lags with frags on in RB6.

Did it recommend Chicago? Maybe Cincinnati is closer? Not sure where in Illinois you're located, but I'm guessing Southern Illinois in the MetroEast area. Belleville? O'Fallon? or even further east?

                            Belleville yeah, I'll try Cincinnati.

                            Cincinnati results:

So about the same for me, but yeah it did initially recommend Chicago.
