This is on my wife's must see list. Gotta compromise a little with all the guy movies coming out this year and for her going to Spiderman 3 last week.

I heard it was awful... in fact it's only scoring 44% on Rotten Tomatoes.

In comparison Shrek scored a 89% and Shrek 2 scored 88%

Too bad, I really like 1 and 2.

Yeah, it only scored 2.5 stars in our paper, but if I listened to reviews all the time, I would have missed out on some great movies and music.

I've got a busy weekend this weekend, but this is on the family to do list next weekend. Both of my kids are pumped for Shrek the Third.

I may be in the minority, but I thought the first two Shrek movies were awful.

Then again, I'm not a kid, so that might have something to do with it.

I wouldn't necessarily classify them as "children's movies." There's a lot of adult humor in there.

I liked the first 2, but I have a bad feeling it may be overdone now with 3. I'm going anyway tomorrow for a family movie date with the wife and kids.

Heck, me and my wife enjoyed them just as much as my 2 kids.

They were right up there with Toy Story IMO. I also liked The Incredibles alot.

yup... not nearly as good as the first 2. i almost put this in the 'bad movie' category.

but kids will like it b/c it's shrek, and they don't know any better.
