If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Re: Calling all programmers... (possible OS project)

Haha alright thanks guys for the ids. Thats plenty.

The eventual goal is to have a sign in process where I automatically take in your facebook id and your os_name and add it to the database...

I just needed a few ids for testing the VERY backend of the database...Comment

 Re: Facebook/OS Integration

 Looks good man.

Potential problem down the road: how will the system account for when users on Operation Sports alter their user names? For instance, if my user name is hard coded as GBrushTWood in the Facebook app, and one day I rename it to Tits McGee on OS, will the Facebook OS plug-in automatically recognize this, or will it need to be changed manually?

I do not know the answer to this for sure, but I imagine that you would need access to OS's account numbers in order for this to work. And for that, you would need access to OS's user database.

*edit* Or, you could mine data from OS. You could figure out a way to parse through member profiles to extract their user name. Of course, OS mgmt here may not like you to be mining data off their servers for non official OS purposes.

I think this would all depend on how many people here are interested in exploring this type of application. Basically it comes down to how much people want to connect to posters on the site, beyond the typical video game/sports/lady talk. I think I would be interested in at least adding an application of the type..not sure how much I want to add like 200 dudes to my facebook friends though... The latest:

I'm going to try and learn FBML sometime in the next few days...

If i can get that down, I can acutally make these tables appear with the facebook css style, so it will look very slick.
