we're building an app that once finished, you will be able to login, enter your OS name, and view all the other OSers who have logged in.

                  I have the backend ready.

I dont have a front end for a user to log in for the first time.

I also dont have any webspace using php5!

I've been thinking about buying some, I just need to break down and finally do it.

I had a test today, I have a test tomorrow, and I have a test Thursday, then nothing for a while, so I can crank out the software side soon...

I just need to get some PHP5 webspace with MySQL... which cost $$$$

Do you really have to run your own server space to have it on Facebook?

                      yup.

Facebook wont let you put anything up on their side.

Their site just interperts your web page and displays it inside facebook.

                        Ah, jeez, that sucks.

Can't you just forward a port on a router and have it act as a server though?

Or will your internet company kill you for it?

                          I have no idea...

I know I have to have access to a MySQL database, and I only have my laptop, so it would have to be hooked up to my router at all times, which wont be happeneing
