Question about CD-R disk and DVD players

Ok guys I'm trying to take some wrestling ppv's from my computer and I'm putting it on CD-R... I'm trying to make it so I can watch it on a DVD player... but I'm not sure exactly how to do it. Right now I'm saving it to CD through Windows Movie Maker but I'm wondering if there is something else I need to do to make sure the disc plays when I put it into a DVD player...

So I was wondering am I doing it right, will Windows Movie Maker be enough to create a DVD that's playable in DVD form... and if the DVD players says it plays CD-R, after burning the disc the ppv should play fine on my tv?

Depends what kind of file format the file is and if your DVD player can play it.

You can always just convert that PPV into ISO files and play it as a normal DVD.

before you worry about that, do you have a dvdrw recorder, or just a cdrw recorder?
