I saw that happen live and I gotta give her credit. She did a good job of getting up and covering up her fall.

She finished in the Top 5 as well so the judges were impressed.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob Neyer

Even funnier than that was the question Tony Romo (a pageant judge) asked Miss USA......

"If you could go back in time to one moment of your life, what would it be?"

        The irony.

LMAO when I saw that. It was even more classic watching T.R. not wanting to laugh when he asked his question.

When she starting off..."In January 2007.....", I was half expecting her to say "on that dreadful day you botched the snap against the Seahawks to cost us the win."

Fall or not, she's smoking hot . . . makes me wish she was from my hometown and high school and not Miss America. (Although I don't really know her either, so it's a moot point.)

I thought she handled that quite well. She got right back up like "...and I'm still the sh*t".

I was talking to TheMatrix during the pageant, and I told him if Japan beat Brazil I would boycott (not exactly sure what I would be boycotting, but whatever).

I also think we spent atleast 5 minutes making fun of Miss USA for falling. :y4:

When I get to my laptop, I'll post the message history (if it isn't too vulgar)

Easily the funniest thing I've seen live in a long, LONG time.

Agreed I thought Brazil would win easily but that is why these competitions are worthless.
