Yeah I saw that, friggin' hilarious.

I think Judd Apatow is a comedic genius and he's been showcasing his skills long enough to prove his ability to write his own script. Should be good stuff.

Yeah I liked that show too. To bad it didn't last longer.

Here's what I said about it last month in the Summer Movie Preview thread:

I mean, I guess it's not a terrible thing, but it strays a bit from the comedic aspect. A few things still save it, though.

And this movie was obviously not finished being cut when I saw it. Haha I sure hope there are some shots that they take out of the theatrical version. Some of them will literally haunt and scar some people!

But yes... I advise people to see it.
If anybody has any further questions about the movie, ask and I'll try my best to remember.

I'm not surprised about Blzer's comments on the last third of the film.

I read an Apatow interview and he mentions how the comedy gets darker as the film progresses.

Thinking about how "40 Year Old Virgin" became more serious as it drew to a close, I wouldn't be surprised if "Knocked Up" is similar in that aspect.

How'd you get to see it? Anything that Apatow is involved with I'm seeing. Having Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd, Jason Segel, AND Katherine Heigl doesn't hurt.

SDSU gets a lot of movies early for us to see. I was able to see 300 the night before it came out, and had opportunities to see Disturbia and Blades of Glory very early as well. I didn't realize that Knocked Up was coming out so late, but to prove that I saw it, this shouldn't be a spoiler by any means, but they continually make references to seeing or wanting to see Spider-Man 3. That's where I got lost, because the movie wasn't out yet. But, I'd say the timing for this movie coming out is a little late to make those references.

But again, there were parts in this movie that I know for sure will be cut for the theatrical version, and there were other parts that seemed to be cut too early, like the scene wasn't complete or something. I'm sure it will be a little different for you guys than it was when I saw it, but nothing major. It really is a hilarious flick.

By the way, was Katherine Heigl really pregnant?

Buzz going around Hollywood is that "Knocked Up" is going to be a hit with audiences. They seem to believe it will have no problem matching the box office gross of "40 Year Old Virgin"' ($109 million).

I'll be seeing it Friday night, looks to be good fun.

It's on my wife's must see list and the makers of the movie have a solid background for me, so I'll see it.

From everything I've heard it's a very funny movie. Funnier than 40 Year Old Virgin (which I didn't find all that funny) and could be one of the funniest movies of the last decades.

If it's like Click and Wedding Crasher towards the end I won't be too disappointed, as long as I get some good laughs from the first hour or so of the movie I'll be happy enough.
