They think it's a seal? Since when have seals lived in lakes?

That video blows. After reading the article, I expected to see at least the head above water, lol.

I wanted to see something like that truck commercial, where it comes out of the water and starts throwing stuff around!

Seriously, though, that looked like a big snake or eel, if anything. They really hyped up that video to the point where I did think we'd get a really good look at something.

Much like the women that sleep with me, I'm so disapointed.

I've seen bigger black things in porn movies.

That video blew. The lochness monster has always been a hoax. Much like Santa Claus, Easter bunny, and Eskimos.

That was a well known fact before this.

                      I wish Nessie was real.

LOL the skeptics already firing away in the media and other places I see...it's always either a bird or an otter or seal or a sturgeon...funny to hear the same things over and over and over.

Definitely an interesting piece of footage, at least it shows an animate object in the Loch...something you can't say about a lot of supposed videos of Nessie, Champ, or Ogopogo. The object seems to be moving at a rapid pace and kinda slithering along, that's what I've noticed is interesting. Can't make a conclusion either way until more studies and results are found from the video but it's intriguing if nothing else.

Which is the appropriate thing to do. Anytime someone has a video, it's best to explore real-world options before jumping right into the the supernatural possibilities, don't you think?

It's more fun to think it's really a dinosaur, instead of a bird, seal, or otter, etc., so I get the appeal, but just because the truth is a lot less interesting, doesn't mean it should be dismissed for the more "fun" possibility.

I know what you're saying and I agree to a degree...it's just funny to hear them dismiss EVERY video that comes out as that. I was poking fun more than trying to make a point.

That's a two street though, instead of jumping straight to "real-world options" why is it that we can't look to other ideas that might be more exotic or unnatural instead of just dismissing every piece of footage that comes along.

There's some really good pieces of evidence out there supporting lake cryptids but no one really has the balls to back them up outside of believers and the people who took the photos or videos. I just wish skeptics and believers alike would look at ALL possibilities instead of not giving one or the other a chance...skeptics especially.

I would swim in Loch Ness.

That's how much I believe in this damn thing if that's the best video they've come up with.

Because it's dangerous to do that and you'll end up believing in all kinds of crazy stuff just because it's more exotic. It's always best to think critically about things. Otherwise, everytime you hear a noise your house, you're likely to think it's some evil, magical troll or something crazy.
