Can anyone tell me how I could get some ring tones on my iPhone other than paying for an song then paying another .99 cents to make an ring tone out of it on iTunes..(Crooks). There are songs I cant even find on iTunes to make ring tones of and some dont allow you to. Its ticking me off.

I made about 15 for my phone. Pretty easy actually.

I wonder if this will also affect the 32gb? I hope Best Buy follows suit so I can get some money back. LOL! If not, the phone was well worth the purchase.

WOW talk about trying to steal the thunder before the clouds form. This is squarely aimed at stealing potential HTC EVO 4g customers.

Bad thing about it is, it is at Walmart LOL. I know my local Walmart barely have any of the smart phones IN STORE. They don't have the Droid, Droid Incredible, HTC HD2 at all. They have a crap load of blackberries and Highlight Ice though.

According to Boy Genius Report, the iPhone 3G is very likely to be discontinued. Apple has reportedly stopped supplying AT&T stores with the 8 GB iPhone 3G. Additionally, the Australian online Apple Store lists the iPhone 3G as "currently unavailable," and UK carrier O2 has altered its ordering options in a way that makes it impossible to purchase the low-end iPhone.

It's not at all shocking that the iPhone 3G is most likely about to be discontinued. The two-year-old hardware is relatively anemic even compared to its successor, the 3GS. Because of its lower RAM and CPU speed, the iPhone 3G won't enjoy all the benefits of iPhone OS 4.0, particularly multitasking. Once the iPhone 3G is discontinued, one of two things will probably happen -- see them both after the link below.

This has nothing to do with that. It's solely about clearing stock for the upcoming iPhone.

Anyone think they are going give us a discount on the new iPhone or we are going to have to pay full price? I don't mind extending my contract with a new iPhone, but... I just got the 3gs towards the end of last year.

Lucky. I was dumb and am stuck with the 3G until 2011. I'm wondering the same thing you are though. I'd pay a minimal upgrade fee but not full price.

LOL one my friends said a riot broke out at Walmart when customers tried to add a line and get the iphone for $97 and was denied because Apple said that price is for NEW 2 YEAR CONTRACTS ONLY. Lmao

Has anyone had this issue with their phone: I plug in my headphones to listen to the ESPN radio app on my iphone and then when I am done and unplug them the phone only allows me to talk to others throw the headphones or on speaker. Is there a setting I need to change to get it back to regular handset mode or am I just screwed?

I had that happen twice, but the only thing I did to fix it was plug the headphones back in and then take them out.

I had this happen several times on my first gen iPhone, but never on my 3GS. The phone basically thinks the headphones are still plugged in and it was pretty annoying. I just had to keep plugging/unplugging the headphones until it became "unstuck" in headphone mode. It sucks when you don't know it is stuck in headphone mode and you answer the phone and can't hear anything and don't know why. It would be really funny to see a video of me the first couple times this happened.

That really sucks I'm trying to plug/unplug the phone but its not working. I'll keep at it.
