I'm very disappointed with the Zagg invisibleSHIELD. I followed the instructions and had it on perfectly. The problem was when I used the squeegee to push the air bubbles out a bunch of adhesive moved to the sides and made the install look like crap. It's probably my fault, though..

it is your fault, but don't worry, it's pretty tough to do if you've never done it before

i had one before, had pretty good luck with the front, but the back was a booger because of the folded over edges

I had a few screen shields from my 3g leftover. Unfortunately the holes don't line up on the new iphone 4 so I cut off the top and the bottom to the size of the actual 4 screen. Also had to cut a small strip off to make it a shade skinner because my case was peeling the screen protector up when put on. Looks decent.

If you've got old screen shields left over, might as well put them to some use. Just make sure to make your cuts straight. The hardest part is peeling away the backing before applying.

sigh, gonna get some sleep early tonight and head out around 2:30am to get in line for the walk ins at att tomorrow.

i have 2, as my phones are sold. the 2nd ebay listing ended today and its up to 435.. gotta make sure i get 2 lol. wish me luck!!

I plan on getting this phone around July 9th-10th Weekend since I'll be in NY that weekend. Ya'll think I'll be able to walk in and purchase it(eligible for an upgrade BTW)or will I still have to order it online?

It's not surprising to me either. If you were a 3G owner and didn't care about the contractual agreement, you could unload your old phone for $50 (broken) to $260 (clean) to get the new model. I got $150 for my 3G which had a cracked screen and dead pixels but still worked..

You could also sell off a 3GS if you were eligible and only pay a negligible difference as well.

You have to love Apple resale values..

Is it actually possible to go into AT&T stores or a Best Buy and buy one?

I figured that since online orders are saying they won't ship until mid-July, that just meant they'd be gone elsewhere. I guess I'm just confused because Fiddy is talking about getting one at an AT&T store.

If I can just walk in and get one, I might upgrade this week. I get paid Wednesday...

Depends on your area, call ahead 1st. I know where I live they still have them in stock, but then again people in Vermont not that big on smartphones anyway.

tomorrow, for my area at least 8 att stores.. its walk in launch day. the 29th!!

as for the Cap, i asked the lady on the 24th, when you guys release to the public for walk ins can i buy 2 like i did last time. her answer, YES!! now, today she said i need another person with me. the communication at these stores are terrible!! i see why they go through manager after manager and sale rep after sale rep!!

edit - ok, my cousin gonna sit with me lol. i told him ill give him 2 unopened iphone cases and buy him a breakfast smile at eat-n-park as well!! lol

it was either bribe him or take my kid to the grandparents for the night and make the old lady sit with me. she didnt like that idea lol.
