Ok, thought everything was good until I started playing around with syncing more.

Here's the issue.

I listen to a lot of podcasts and in ios4 I would delete them from iTunes and then when I would sync they would delete from the iphone. Now, with ios5, if I delete it from iTunes but not the iphone it adds it back to iTunes. Surely there is some setting I'm missing because I really don't want to have to delete each individual podcast from both iTunes and the iphone.

Any ideas?

I'm suffering from the same thing. Problem is, I'm being lazy about finding a solution. So far I've been deleting from both places before I sync. It would be nice if you can delegate the master and let it prompt you like ical/contacts syncing does.

OK after a day with the new ios a few of the top of my head questions.

Did I not read that we can now delete songs directly from our phones? If so How?

Also I thought I read there was a new "guide to using your iphone" with this update. Where is it if it even exists or I read wrong . Being still fairly new to the iphone I could use a nice "how to".

How do I sync with itunes on my pc wirelessly? It's greyed out.

Whenever you need to delete something from a list, in any app, always try swiping in iOS.

It's a universal api that's a foundation of development with Apple - all app makers typically either use that method or the edit - tap the minus sign method for deletion.

Now THAT is cool. I didn't know that. I knew about songs but this is even better.

You can even delete full playlists from the device. Nice.

I'm a fan of the PixelSkin HD - doesn't add the bulk that other cases do and STILL offers great protection.
