Not sure if it's going through or not. I had so much trouble last time I tried to preorder an iPhone through AT&T

No, in fact I have 2 screen protectors if you include the otterbox one. I have the non-glare Apple sceen protector on as well.</p>

So weird... It says I am not eligible for an upgrade at a discounted price, but it doesn't tell me when I am eligible. On my wife's account it gives me the date she can upgrade at a discounted price. I bought my iPhone 4 on 02/10/11, so I should be eligible as it's every 18 months, no? It always has been in the past. I tried calling AT&T but they are swamped, so even if I wanted to preorder right now, I can't. Buddy of mine told me no line at Best Buy either. AT&T says it will deliver on the 21st, but I can't preorder at discounted price!!!

And now I can preorder at discounted price. It seems all online preorders are not being shipped out on the 21st, as they sold out quickly. I guess Best Buy is my only hope.

Glad I got my order in quick. Confirmation email hit my inbox at 3:13 am. Ordered through the Apple Store app, if anyone was wondering, because the website wasn't up at 3:01 am.

Now begins the longest week ever.

Thinking about going "naked" with this one... aluminum back won't scratch as easily as the glass on the 4 and 4S. Hate the fact that I have to use a case on my 4 (even though it's pretty low profile - Speck Pixelskin HD), these phones are just too sexy to cover up unless absolutely necessary!

Anyone else go(ing) caseless?

I like the skin it series for covers. Skin it with invisishield or whatever that screen cover is the way to go. With an aluminum back, I'd probably just go front screen cover though.

I think I'm going to. It's the main reason I'm buying Best Buy's protection. If I **** it up, I'll just send it out for a few days.

Yeah, BB protection is solid. Ended up not going through them, since I didn't like the idea of either not having my phone for a week (trade in and use that money for new phone) or end up with $200 on a gift card.

Going to end up only $36 for it, once I get the old phone shipped off to Gazelle.

You've got that backwards. Glass is more scratch resistant than aluminum. The back of my boss' iPad looks like crap without a case. My iPhone 4S back is in mint condition.

Now, glass does break easier than aluminum...

Yeah, that's what I meant.

Going caseless because the aluminum won't shatter like the glass would.

I love it. Was able to snag it for free due to the antenna issues, but really, I would have gladly paid for one. Honestly think it's the best out there if you just want to protect the glass back while still keeping the phone as slim as possible.

Will probably buy one for the 5, if they offer one (I'm sure they will).

I'll probably go naked. So the back will scratch more easily on the 5? Maybe I'll just get a cover for the back. That's all I have on my 4 because I lay it on it's back on my desk at work all the time.
