    Re: iPhone Discussion Thread

Didn't know if anyone could help me...

I'm trying to import a CSV excel file into my iphone 5 that has all my email address contacts in it. I have a RoadRunner email account that is my main email. I have my phone setup to import all emails into my secondary yahoo account (that also saves a copy in my main email provider). But I can't figure out how to import that file into my phone for my contacts list. Can this be done? If so, does anyone have a link to help me (preferably a video tutorial)? I've searched and searched & can't find anything that is helpful for me. Thanks!!

Question for all you warranty/repair buffs out there.
I've had an iPhone 5 for about 3 months. The other day I notcied a little shadow on my screen while I was taking a picture. Turns out the "floater" is on the camera lens. I've tried to wipe it away with a tissue but it seems to me that it is on the inside of the lens.

I dropped the phone once but it wasn't a bad drop, scuffed one of the corners. Obviously, I won't tell Apple that I dropped it. Perhaps, though, the dropped knocked something loose and it got stuck inside the lens?

Irregardless, it affects my pictures so I was thinking of making an appointment and taking it to the Apple store. Would this be worth my time, do you think it will be repaired or replaced?

Nope, but I'm eagerly awaiting tonight/tomorrow's untethered release.

I don't think there is anything on the iPhone that will do that. On second thought - yes there are apps that do this, I don't think any are free though.

Your best bet is to try an import the CSV into Roadrunner or Yahoo mail and then sync the contacts via that account.

Tapatalk the app that lets you browse/reply to forums (like OS), is only $.99

Download Tapatalk - 200,000+ Forums by Everforo, Inc on the App Store. See screenshots, ratings and reviews, user tips, and more games like Tapatalk - 200,000+…

One caveat though - the reason this is now $.99 is because they recently released Tapatalk 2. Which of course I only found out about AFTER jumping on the Tapatalk 1 deal

Nothing wrong with the original version though, works fine. Just missing some new features...

                      Feature Highlights:
                      - Fully redesigned - gesture based forum navigation
                      - Patent-pending contextual "Magic Wheel" provides super-quick access to all Tapatalk forum features such as Facebook / Twitter sharing, Thanks and Like, Discussion Subscription and more.
                      - New Camera with Instagram style filters, one click photo-sharing to forum members
                      - Tapatalk ID saves your favorite forums and settings under one account, works on multiple mobile platform
                      - New Editor - a joy to type on iPhone to participate discussion on the go.
                      - Made for iPhone 5
                      - Push Notification - stay up-to-dated of your discussions and private messages.

I've never seen Cydia so backed up. I'm still having to wait to install or uninstall certain apps. Safari seems slow as hell to me now, though.

Yeah it is, but after a few weeks, I think I like Tapatalk 2 better.

I upgraded my wife's iPhone to a 4s for her birthday for 132.00 total. Then went and sold her 3gs for 115.00 on ebay. Not bad all in all. I might do the same with my upgrade.
