I saw somebody mention that they had to pay an early termination fee to get the new iPhone. My wife and I have been Verizon customers for years and when we were able to upgrade our phones last summer we did the deal where you got the 4s for $100 and renewed for 2 years. Obviously we aren't up for a full upgrade yet but wanted to know if we could trade in our 4s's without having to pay a termination fee. We are fine with doing another 2 year contract with Verizon.

The iphone 6 is a nice upgrade over my 5. The screen is so much better and the battery life has been crazy good. Camera much improved too

Nope. Either pay the ETF and sign a new contract or wait another year for your upgrade.

I got my 6 on release day. I just walked into our local AT&T store and bought 2 phones, one for me and one for my wife. I didn't even plan on going then but my wife wanted to go see if they had any and at least see how big a 6+ was. The store only got 1 6+, but they got about 10-15 6's. There were people there but only 4 or 5 so I was able to get the phone. Living in a small town sometimes has its advantages.

I really like the 6 a lot. Is a good upgrade over my 5. My on/off button did not work on my 5 and it had a couple scratches on the screen. I like the fingerprint thing, especially for iTunes and some other apps. I like the bigger screen and phone. It is a perfect size for me. I'm still on the fence about the battery life. I've not really had a good test day for the phone. In short, I like the 6 a lot so far.

After hearing that the iphone 6 battery was almost identical to the 5s I got turned off because I know how bad they get after a while where I have to charge my phone 2-3 times a day.

I was gonna get my gf the 6 but I been seeing a ton of vids of the iPhone bending quite easily. It's terrible seeing how easy it is to do it. Good luck guys with your new phone be careful. She keeps saying she'll never put in her pocket and it will go in her purse but I warned her.

It's only the 6 Plus that has been reported with a problem, if there even is one. I've seen videos of guys purposefully bending it, but nothing to prove that these things are actually bending from just being in pockets. You're fine to get her a 6.

Its been reported that way but I have to question how these people are sitting. Lol. I've had mine in my pocket a ton since Friday and while driving a lot too. One other thing is I have a case on it so that may be why it doesn't bend when in seated.

You have a 6 plus?

What's your impression of it compared to an iPhone 5?

I guess I could see aluminum bending more than metal would but man that has to be a heart break taking the phone out of your pocket and it's lopsided.

Nah I have a 6 but there are reports that the 6 is bending too.

Yea they're supposedly both bending in people's pockets. My wife wants the 6, but now I'm thinking we should wait. The solution is a hard case, but some people don't like using cases with their phones. I think apple dropped the ball on this one. So much emphasis on quality build and no ones phone should bend in any pockets.

Lol Art you are really trying to find any reason to hate this phone man.

Have a 6 and no bendgate issues. Seems to be strictly for the plus. You shouldn't be putting something like that in your pockets anyway man. Bad enough how ridiculous these 4.7 in. phones look already.

It is kinda crazy they have a new sapphire screen but the bending is happening to the phone itself. .. but that wouldn't stop me from getting the phone
