Re: Jericho may return!
Sounds good, enjoyed the show. Reading that CBS failed to take into account the DVR #'s when deciding whether or not the show should be brought back doesnt surprise me, CBS doesnt have a clue what they are doing anymore it seems, nor does NBC for that matter. -
Re: Jericho may return!
Hell yes.
Show should've never been cancelled in the first place, looks like CBS is waking up to the mistake they made.
Glad to see that all of our (Jericho fans that is) persistence and hard work paid off.Patrick Mahomes > GodComment

Re: Jericho may return!
I watched the first 2 episodes and really liked them but then stopped watching because of another show that was playing at the same time.
I might have to download Season 1 and see how it finished up.
Was it good the rest of the way?Comment

Re: Jericho may return!
The DVR count is a new thing and it's hard to blame networks for ignoring it.
Primary reason is ads pay for a lot and people skip over ads when viewing on DVRs or online.
However, with the internet becoming so streamlined it is about time networks realize the potential of it.
I wouldn't be surprised if in less than five years there are shows on major networks that only air on the internet.
The issue right now is finding a way to get viewers to watch ads and keep the networks in the black. They are trying something new this upcoming season with games and new kinds of commercials (ones that take five commercials to complete to keep the audience in suspense), but I have a hard time believing those will work.
Perhaps it's about time networks start working like radio stations and air their commercials every 30 minutes instead of putting breaks into shows. Someone should try that on a show and see if viewership goes up."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. I'm pretty sure every show is like, even That 80's Show probably had dedicated fans, or Homeboys from Outer Space.Comment

I can tell you, I probably watched the show one time on Wed. @ 8:00. I DVR'd the show every week and watched it whenever. I did that with Lost sometimes too. I think it's a great show. I hope it comes back.MLB: Cincinnati Reds
