      I dont even use Safari on my Mac. I really liked it, but I couldn't download some files I needed time and time again for school. Firefox does the trick... no problems.

        My guess is they're not used to having to deal with crashes all the time like on Windows. Apparently the new patch (3.0.1) makes it a lot more stable.

        And if you like the search in Safari, get the Inquisitor plugin. It gives you the top 3-6 (depending on your preferences) websites in the search window along with some keywords, so you don't have to even go to the Google site. Plus, if you've visited links multiple times, it tells you that as well.
