Anyone collect records (albums)?

My parents have a fairly nice "collection" of older performers, including Sinatra, Neil Diamond, Tony Bennett etc.

I happen to really enjoy some of their older preferences in music, but most of all, I'm thinking of buying a decent record player (turn table), and then asking my parents if they wouldn't mind sending me those older albums.

I also happen to know that some of my brother's older Spingsteen albums are at my parent's home, so that would be a neat addition too.

Anyone collect records. Just curious.

There's a CD store around here that basically gives them away. They are on sale for 2 bucks...no matter what the album is. They are all used obviously, but I bought a Elton John "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" vinyl for 2 bucks.

I have about 30...and I plan on getting a set of turntables really soon.

doh, I have a set of turntables I'm selling on ebay right now I wish I knew you were looking. My auction ends today actually and someone already bid but let me know if you are interested I would rather let go of them locally, I'm in raleigh too. I have a mixer, headphones, needles, all that stuff to go with them too.

anyway yea I don't really collect records but I do have 30-35 hip hop vinyls
