What's your favorite 80s Horror/Slasher flick?

I'm gonna have to go with Fright Night.

Quite possibly the best Vampire movie ever.... perfect blend of humor, horror, action, and awesome 80s music. How can you not love the Chris Sarandon "Disco Seduction" scene with Amanda Beard (I think that's her name) with Ian Hunter's "Good Man in a Bad Time" playing in the background.

To be honest, a classic that I've always loved...'The Lost Boys'! Sure it's not a slasher, or a "true" horror flick, but it DID have vampires! And was also funny as hell!

The first Halloween is actually pretty good...I haven't seen all that many 80's horror movies, though I'm slowly working my way back in time

I forgot about Evil Dead, but i've actually seen it and I agree...I'm a Bruce Campbell/Sam Raimi fan so i'd obviously like it, but it's cheesy/gory and everything you need.

Definitely Silver Bullet. Took forever for me to finally find it on DVD. I used to watch it all the time as a kid. As it is, I love werewolf flicks, and this is definitely the best IMO.

BTW, if IT was made in the 80's, that is DEFINITELY the scariest. I still can't watch it without getting the creeps.
