First things first, he better be dead... along with Amanda, Lawrence, Eric, and even Jeff.

Secondly, this movie better not be chronologically out of order with the rest of the series. It is Saw IV, hence it should continue after Saw III.

As much as having a copycat killer is my favored thing of what can happen for a new Jigsaw, I also don't like it as much, either. John Kramer (Tobin Bell) is Jigsaw... because of his years of intelligence and wisdom, physical weakness, kick-*** voice, and overall motive for doing what he does. Whoever is "taking his place" better have a convincing backstory (and an accepted one as well).

By the way, I think that they are doing Saw VI as well... what I meant though was that I think that they already know what they're doing for Saw V. I'm hoping that the first three movies are its own trilogy and that this is a second one. I most certainly don't want Saw IV to close it all out, especially after how Saw III went.

I have a feeling that Jeff won't be dead, SAW IV will be Jeff's story expanded weaving in and out of flashbacks.

There will be more Saw's than Friday the 13th movies, bank on it. I've never seen a franchise more milked than this one.

Well, I certainly hope not. I don't know if you remember our PM's about Saw III, but one thing that I really focused on was "trilogy." Not only that, but Jeff was already given that final chance to forgive. If you watch the movie again, you will see that there is a door that slams shut on him as that insurance policy tape plays. I'm taking the very final line of the movie into account ("Then you'll have to play a game") when I'm saying this, but I have a feeling that that was his game, and the way that he's saying it is... meh, it's hard to explain. It's a future tense sentence spoken in the sense that it had already occured in the past.

I'm more than positive that there will be something that clues into what actually happened to the character, be it a flashback or revisiting the scene (perhaps Rigg)... or maybe they find him and he's alive. Whatever it is, I can't see the movie focusing on him searching for his daughter, who I think deserves to die because of Jeff's own faults, as sad as that sounds. Besides, the movie would then be him searching around and around, no dialogue? I think, in a sense, his story is done. But that doesn't mean that he won't make a cameo, or that his fate won't be revealed.

Eric was the cop. The only reason why I would like them to be dead is to seal closure to the first three movies, that's all. Again, their fates could be revealed within the next few movies, but I would like for them to have died, mostly because they failed their games... but otherwise, just because I wouldn't like for them to attempt to drag on what was blatantly set up to be a trilogy. Let's start up the Scream franchise again and revive Matthew Lillard... because, you know, he can potentially live from being crushed by a T.V.

Again, it's not a trilogy. A trilogy has 3 movies, Saw will probably end up with about 17 movies. No trilogy...sorry.

Star Wars consisted of two trilogies.

Star Wars isn't a trilogy either, and in my mind it's not consisted of 2 trilogies. It's a 6 part movie series (actually 9, but that's not here or there).

I remember after Saw 2 hit the theaters, that they registered the names for Saw 3, 4, 5, and 6. It's going to keep going.

They need to take it easy on that stuff... after the third one I'm done.

They still make money, it's cheap to make. So every year, we're going to see another Saw movie. Once they take a dip and don't make a ton, there will be a break so fans can want a Saw movie again, but this is the 4th straight October with a Saw movie releasing.... I've never seen any movie series milked like this. Not even Friday the 13th was this bad.

I truly don't blame them for continuing to make them, if it's going to make money I guess. But this is what's wrong with modern horror...everything is either a sequel or remake. Nothing is original anymore...the indie movies are the only things keeping it going for me, otherwise I'll take the old horror films. Movies like Dead and Breakfast, Undead, and 2001 Maniacs don't even get a sniff at a theater run. It's a shame.
