    360 System Link ?

Never tried this b4 but if I had 2 360's, is all I need an ethernet cable and 2 copies of a game to play someone else in a different room? And what games do you think would be good to play with this setup?

Without a hub or switch you'll need a network crossover cable.

GOW, RB6, GRAW, any sports game really would be fun.

It works with the regular 360 ethernet cable.

Would it work if they're both connected through the same router?

Obviously a good shooter if you and your friend are both online.

I dont think you even need a router, just connect the 2 with the ethernet cable, 2 copies of a game and I think you can syslink like that.....I think..

It would need to be a crossover cable. A standard ethernet cable wouldn't work. A router or hub does this crossover @ the device level but if there is no device the cable has to be made already crossed. (Literally the internal wires which are connected the the plug are crossed one on side.)
