Shaq's Big Challenge - anyone watching this?

Basically Shaq is trying to help kids who are obese get into shape. He's also lobbying the govt. to help change kid's lunches at school. Since i'm into fitness and often think about how fat our kids are getting this is a great idea for a show that interests me quite a bit. I think Shaq is great for doing this to help these kids. Anyone else checking this show out?

I didn't know it was on yet. What channel is it on?

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Shaq is far from out of shape. Maybe out of shape for NBA standards but not for regular people.

Well Shaq may be fat but you can still be fat and in shape (something I have learned from being "into" fitness). I imagine he's in excellent shape overall health wise. But I do see that angle as well.

I missed it but I'll try to catch it next week. I also agree that you don't have to be super skinny to be in shape.

Re: Shaq's Big Challenge - anyone watching this?

The show was great. If you had watched it, you would have seen how "out of shape" Shaq was.

Please...the guy has a set of toned guns, shoulders as wide as a Dodge Ram and looked to be as sleek as I've seen him in years. Not to mention that he seems like the nicest guy on the planet....

Shaq would be the one athlete that would REALLY upset me if he pulled an OJ. The guy is insanely likeable. If he had no basketball skills at all, he could be doing something in the entertainment business...
The line must be drawn HERE! This far, no further!

I agree wholeheartedly. The only reason to not like Shaq is if his team continued to keep yours out of the finals but even then you'd have to like him. He just seems like a good guy.

Yeah I agree, he looked like he was in fantastic shape in tonight's episode. And he is very likeable...also his ride too was sweet!! And like I said, it's just so great that Shaq is doing this to help out these kids, it's about damned time someone did this. America is becoming the land of the lard@sses and it's killing people. It's just so sad and frustarting to see that kids are beginning to fall into this previously adults only issue.

Shaq is my fav athlete off the court. Always cracks me up and seems really down to earth. Like a giant kid.

well it's because schools are poorly funded and are easily swayed by corporate money to stock vending machines with sodas and chips. I know some schools in NC even signed exclusive vending contracts with cheerwine or pepsi. How sad.
